Subj: Pairs Jumping Competition

Dear Area 6 Reps,

Many of you will know of the Summer Charity Horse Show organised by Denis Day (Addams
Caterers) and held each year at Widmer Equestrian Centre, Pink Road, Lacey Green, nr Princes
Risborough. This year's show will be held on Sunday 13th July 2008.

This year, Denis has decided that he would like to run a Riding Clubs v Pony Clubs Pairs Show
Jumping Competition at the show. He will present special (keeper) cups/trophies and a sash to
each of the winning pair.  Denis is 88 this year (although as a Leap Year baby, he proudly tells
everyone that he is now 22!) and really wants to make this year's show a smash hit.

He has asked me to ask all of you Clubs if you will be sending pairs, as he is trying to guage
how many pairs will enter this new class. The Pony Clubs are, apparently, champing at the bit
to have a go (they want to prove they are better than Riding Clubs!) but Denis wants to make
sure that the pairs are evenly matched in number, as far as possible.

The schedules will be available very soon.  There won't be any requests for Passports or Vac.
certificates etc!  If you think your Club will be sending some pairs, please would you kindly let
me know so that I can pass the information on to Denis..........he doesn't "do" e-mail!!

The height will be approx. 2' 6" and there will be no age restrictions, either at the top end or the
bottom!

Could you kindly let me know a.s.a.p.?  Many thanks.

NRC ADVERTS

April 2008

Please can you pass this email on to anyone that may want to buy my Quattro rubber stable
mats. I have 12 mats that are just over 1 year old. They are the pure rubber mats that are
guaranteed for 10 years. They are as good as new. Retail is over £30 per mat new + delivery
and VAT. I will sell them for £20 per matt. A typical 12x12 stable takes 6 matts. They could
be used in a lorry or trailer.
I am moving the horses to a livery yard that has mats in the stables and I now have no use for
them.

I also have electric fence posts, tape and an energiser for sale if anyone is interested. I will
work out how many posts and tape that I have. The posts are green and the tape is brown so
it blends in well. They too are about a year old but I will no longer need them.

The buyer will need to collect and they are heavy so will need a lorry, trailer or 4x4 to put
them in. I can deliver but I may have to charge.

Any interest please call Selina on 07703199963

RIGHTS OF WAY ISSUES

You can find useful links to other Right-of-Way websites
on the links page

Rights of Way Liaison Group Meeting 14 Jan 05

Points of interest:

All local parishes have already been invited to comment on issues around the Rights of Way Improvement Plan, do you know what your parish sent, if anything?
BHS has responded already, other interested parties/groups will be invited to respond very soon.

Open access - all Forestry Commission land will be included.

Once a problem with footpath/bridleway is reported do not "re-report" it otherwise the system gets clogged with double entries. The status of an existing problem can be found out by phone/email.

If you have a digital camera then (low resolution!) images can be useful to help report problems on rights of way
